MEET JASMINE!

Hi there! I’m Jasmine Ashanti Gillenwaters!

 

Born and raised in Memphis, TN, I grew up surrounded by music. Performing has been a passion of mine since I was little, producing solo shows for my parents on our fireplace at the ripe age of six!

 

My love for theatre skyrocketed in high school, where I solidified the idea of pursuing it as a career. I graduated in May of 2025 from the University of Memphis with my BFA in Musical Theatre, and have been working professionally since (Maine State Music Theatre, Goodspeed Musicals, Playhouse on the Square)!

In November of 2025, I signed with Pantera/Murphy (PMA), my dream agency.

My mission as a performer is to be a walking inspiration for young artists. Theatre may not be the most reliable career path, but with determination, hard-work, and love, any dream career is possible.

 

When I’m not on the stage, I love baking, playing with my sweet puppy Snickers, and reading (and/or) writing dystopian fiction. Thanks for stopping by!
